EduGyani Launches Finance, Marketing, and Management Internship for Class 12 Girls at Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School Mubarakpur Dabas No. 2

New Delhi, May 18, 2025 – In a transformative initiative aimed at empowering young women with practical skills in finance, marketing, and management, EduGyani, a leading educational platform, has launched an internship program exclusively for Class 12 female students at Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School Mubarakpur Dabas No. 2 (School ID: 1412253). The internship, running from May 13 to May 31, 2025, is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications, equipping students with essential skills for future careers.

Under the guidance of school teacher Ms. Pooja Sharma (Nodal Incharge), Ms Pooja Khurana (Vocational Teacher) and Mr. Udit, the branch manager overseeing EduGyani’s operations in North West Delhi, the program has garnered enthusiasm from students, educators, and the local community. Held at the Institute premises in Mubarakpur Dabas, Delhi, this initiative reflects EduGyani’s commitment to fostering financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and leadership among young women.

Program Highlights

The 19-day internship program is tailored to introduce Class 12 students to the fundamentals of finance, marketing, and management through a blend of interactive workshops, hands-on projects, and mentorship sessions. The curriculum covers:

  • Finance: Basics of budgeting, financial planning, and investment strategies, with practical exercises in managing mock portfolios and understanding savings schemes.

  • Marketing: Concepts of branding, digital marketing, and consumer behavior, including creating marketing campaigns for hypothetical products.

  • Management: Leadership skills, team collaboration, and project management, with students tasked to design and present business proposals.

Each day features sessions led by industry experts from EduGyani, alongside contributions from Ms. Pooja Sharma (Nodal Incharge) and Pooja Khurana (Vocational Teacher), who ensures alignment with the students’ academic goals. Mr. Udit, with his extensive experience in managing educational outreach programs, oversees the operational success of the internship, ensuring seamless coordination and resource availability.

Empowering Young Women

The program exclusively targets female students to address gender disparities in access to skill-building opportunities, particularly in fields like finance and management, which are often male-dominated. “This internship is a stepping stone for our girls to explore careers they might not have considered before,” said Ms. Pooja Sharma and Ms Pooja Khurana. “It’s about building confidence and showing them they can excel in any field they choose.”

Students have expressed excitement about the practical learning approach. Khushi Sharma, a Class 12 participant, shared, “I never thought I could understand how companies market products or manage money. The workshops are fun, and I feel ready to take on new challenges.” Another student, Priya Kumari, added, “Creating a business plan was my favorite part. It made me think like an entrepreneur.”

Community and Institutional Support

The internship has been warmly received by the school administration and the local community in Mubarakpur Dabas. The school, known for its commitment to girls’ education, provided its facilities to host the program, ensuring a conducive learning environment. Principal Ms Seema Sagar praised the initiative, stating, “EduGyani’s partnership with our school is a milestone in empowering our students with skills that go beyond textbooks. We are grateful for their vision and dedication.”

Mr. Udit, the branch manager, emphasized the program’s long-term impact. “At EduGyani, we believe in creating opportunities that transform lives. This internship is not just about learning skills; it’s about inspiring these young women to dream big and achieve their potential,” he said.

A Model for Future Initiatives

The internship aligns with broader efforts by the Delhi government and educational organizations to promote vocational training and skill development among senior secondary students. By focusing on Class 12 girls, EduGyani aims to set a precedent for inclusive education programs that prepare students for the workforce while addressing gender equity.

EduGyani plans to expand the program to other government schools in Delhi, with Mubarakpur Dabas No. 2 serving as a pilot. The organization is also exploring partnerships with local businesses to provide students with exposure to real-world corporate environments in future iterations.

Looking Ahead

As the internship progresses, students are preparing for a capstone event on May 31, 2025, where they will present their business proposals to a panel of educators and industry professionals. Certificates of completion will be awarded to all participants, recognizing their dedication and achievements.

The community eagerly awaits the outcomes of this pioneering program, which promises to shape the future of its participants and inspire similar initiatives across the region. For the girls of Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School Mubarakpur Dabas No. 2, this internship is more than a learning opportunity—it’s a gateway to a world of possibilities.
